Joomla GDPR extension

Hi,

On May 25th, 2018 the GDPR comes into force and we have been getting a lot of queries from our members regarding the same. To make things easier for our members we are developing a GDPR extension for Joomla sites. A centralized place for site users to view, edit and understand how their submitted data is processed by the site owners. Here is the preview and with your feedback, we will improve as we move towards stable release.

Joomla 3.7 includes custom fields feature which is a great step ahead. Custom fields in Joomla will also need filter for sure, so as to list them based on custom fields or filter based on specific custom field. Our JA MegaFilter for Joomla now includes support for Joomla custom field filters. You can now filter Joomla 3.7 custom fields for articles based on color, calendar, checkboxes, editor, gallery, list, media, text, user, etc. Do check out our Custom Field Filter demo and let us know your feedback in the comments below.

Did you know, our JA BrickStore template featuring VirtueMart has a new cool filter extension? Incase, you missed it, you can view it live on demo. We received lots of requests to include support for more popular extensions for the MegaFilter and today we are releasing JA MegaFilter with native support for JoomShopping, E-Shop, K2 component, HikaShop and Virtuemart. JA MegaFilter is a Joomla search and filter extension to build search and filter pages for popular Joomla extensions. The Joomla filter extension includes base field filters like title, tags, category, price, manufacturer, brand etc and custom field filter like color or size. For k2 it also supports the author and category fields apart from tags.

Megafilter with virtuemart plugin is available for free to club members and can be downloaded from JA BrickStore template download section. Rest of the plugins are released under extension club and can also be purchased as single extension. As always our Developer members gets complimentary free access.

Hi Guys,

Today, JoomlArt team have released new version for JA K2 Filter component - version 1.2.4 with new features, improvements and bug fixes. Here are the details:

  • New feature: option to make blank page with user's defined message before searching
  • New feature: select fields as required fields for searching
  • Improvement: improve search & filter performance
  • Improvement: Update multi ordering for horizontal layout
  • And 2 bug fixes

Since we developed Joomla Admin template - JA Admin, we have been recieving requests to develop tools to make Joomla backend more practical and information rich. Almost everyone uses Google Analytics for their sites and usually needs to login to Google Analytics separately to see how the site is doing in general.

The google analytics module that we previewed with JA Admin was a very basic one and so we have worked upon it to make it provide specific information related to routine analytics. Thus came the idea to develop specific dashboards for specific analytics view.

We have recently updated our JA Social Feed Plugin to even support RSS feeds into Joomla. With this update the JA Social feed plugin now supports all the popular social channels, making it easier for anyone to pull content from social channels into Joomla content or K2 content. On top of that, it can either be automatic pull or manual updates. With multiple profiles inbuilt, you can pull public feeds of any social account of interest to your website users.

JA K2 Filter version 1.1.6 has just released with a great new feature: applying relevance search. The feature allows you to define score for elements in your K2 item: title, meta description, meta keywork, description, etc. Once you search with any query, the system will calculate score for each item and set order of items in search result page based on the score.
