Thanks @saguaros – I did get the Youtube feed to work tonight. I uninstalled and re-installed the JA SocialFeed Plugin and re-entered all my API’s and credentials

The only issue that I could see was that Youtube has changed the format of their user ID’s and channel ID’s – they are now a string of numbers a lot like the API key

@saguaros – thanks, but I spoke too soon. I got it to work once and tried again – nothing. I am not sure what is going on.

I am giving up and probably going to remove the JA Social feed from my site. The double images from Facebook and the inactive Youtube issue is something I have been struggling with since J3.4 first released. I do not think the Social feed plugin is compatible with the latest edition of joomla.

And the facebook double image thing has been a bug with the social feed plugin since day 1

Youtube ID not being saved
I followed these steps:
Set status to – Enable
Select source to – Youtube channel
Entered – Youtube ID (as shown here http://www.youtube.com/account_advanced)
Verify – It shows the xml page
Check ID field – it is now empty
Re-enter the ID and save – Again blank

@saguaros – there seems to be conflicting responses from the admins regarding the Youtube feed. @adam M stated that the youtube feed does have a bug that Joomlart is working to fix.

Can you verify if the Youtube portion of the socialfeed is working on the latest joomla release or is there a bug?
