Hi,

I really need some urgent help with this please. Everything has been going fine, we created our prototype site using page builder on a demo server and now are recreating it on a live public environment ahead of a trade-show this week so it needs to be live.

I’ve setup a fresh Joomla install, installed the JA Builder plugin and everything went without a hitch. But now I’m unable to Edit any JA Builder pages that I create except the JA Builder page called Home which is set as the default item in my Main Menu.

I can create as many JA Builder pages as I like, but I simply can’t edit them

Please see attached video. I’ve been at this all day and am totally out of ideas. I’d really appreciate some help as soon as possible -this is really time-critical (we’ve bought the Premium version of the plugin)

ok this has something to do with Search Engine Friendly URLs – if I disable that feature in the Global Configuration then my menus work ok with & without Page Builder.

However I end up with URLs that look like this for the FAQ: http://www.mydomain.com/joomla/index.php?option=com_jabuilder&view=page&id=4&Itemid=103 when ideally they would much neater and look like http://ww2.mydomain.com/index.php/faq as they do on our staging server.

So it feels like an nginx / Joomla configuration option – everything works fine on the demonstration server but not on our production system – both linux & both running Nginx.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Hi Steve,

If it’s not running with SEFs URL option enabled, then kindly check whether there is any specific rule access on your live server or not comparing with your staging server.

Could really do with some help on my other query please https://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/exporting-importing-pages-has-inconsisnte-results/ . we need the site to go live today and can’t until it looks ok.
