sorry, I am a little confused as I am not too much of an expert as far as the coding goes…… are you saying that the jaDirectory template is not set up to allow an email addresses to be entered into the text field of K2 extra fields?

No , i’m saying that you will need also to include your email address into /templates/ja_directory/html/com_k2/directory/category.php
If you look at that file you will see which extra fields it loads so if you add a new extra field and you do not customize also file then website page doesn’t works.
