I don’t think this is a bug. The demo of JA Simpli has menus opening on hover. Won’t work for me though, so wondering am I missing something?

Solved!

Setting on module tab in the Main Menu module. Set ‘Show Sub-menu Items’ to Yes. You would think that would be the default setting but that’s the answer for anyone else having this problem.
