When trying to edit the templates index.php via Admin it wont let us select the template and will return following Error

The Parameter-File /templates/ja_barite/params.ini is Writable!

Fatal error: Cannot access empty property in /home/educateu/public_html/libraries/joomla/registry/registry.php on line 146

Also what the Connection of JA Purity here? 😉 The error shows a reference for it too.

Hello The quickstart was tried on Local Machine not on any production server. Everything works besides the error faced. I have put the screenshot in the Installtion Guide area. You can take it from there.

The error for not able to modifiy template parameters comes for the PHP versions. This issue came in last time for JA Purity. All you have to do is edit the .htaccess file and then give it the php version

Please refer http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/ja_purity-cant-change-template-parameters/ for details. No need to reinstall the template. Just give the .htaccess what it ask and should go smooth. Also this is the first time i will be using the 1.5 and not sure what will be the scene when i modify the .htaccess for the SEF. Seems should go smooth.
