After doing a complete redesign using JA SOCIAL II as a base, our site was supposed to get updated today with the new design. The Elegant theme for EasySocial is essentially unusable with JA SOCIAL II.

I have to say that it is very disappointing that you guys were not more on top of this. This template is specific to these social extensions and Users told you that is was being updated and Stack has gone through several betas and RCs so that if you guys gave a crap you could have easily been prepared. Hi @xenocast,

We already prepared for Easysocial update and we also have partnership program with both Jomsocial and Stackideas, that’s the reason why you will get the template update next week instead of later.

In addition, we always work with the stable version release, not beta or RC because basically, there’s a reason why they called them beta or release candidate instead of stable.

There is another annoying issue with this template:
in vertical tablet view the ES sidebar disappear but the ES “toggle sidebar” does not display…
Lots of functionalities are lost, please make the necessary changes to display the ES toolbar “Toggle sidebar”

PS: I forgot the following:

The ES drop down menu module changes color font in smaller screens but not the icon arrow down. User don’t notice they can tap/clic on the avatar/name to display a menu…
The arrow down icon should also change color.

1. About the toggle button in tablet / mobile layout. It’s defined by Easy Social CSS style and we don’t touch anything in this part. If you want to display it in vertical tablet layout as well, you can open file templatesja_social_iicsscustom.css (if you don’t have this file, just create a new one) then add this code :
