We work on a JA Wall (2.5 version) platform and when we use the feedgator to bring articles into our platform, the picture is transfered along with wierd characters as caption/tag. We can only remove those characters manually through the alias when that is set to latin characters instead of greek. Is there any specific encoding we need or any settings we should change in the Feeds settings in order to have automatic feeding without confused caption underneath the photos.

Component FeedGator is a third party extension we used in our JA Wall.
