I just tried to create a new event for testing purpose on April 2 and created JS Events Calendar module & assign to position-2 position on the homepage, you can see it’s showing now.

Hi Saguaros

I have already check out the documentation. It is showing "Note: Event creation is now only available through the front end of JomSocial." on backend. As per you reply dated March 2, 2016, can you plz let me know the step to add new event.

I think the docs is clear enough: in the Jomsocial page on frontend, login with your own account and create new event.
