    Hi
    You have to restore the site backup that you took before the update of Joomla.
    As i can see you are using Akeeba backup so you can restore the full site backup that you have take before updating Joomla.

    Just for your information, i have removed the language switcher override to test and the issue is still there.

    Restore the site back up on a test site or directly on the live server and check this issue again.
    Only Joomla cannot be restored after updated.
