As you may have seen, Joomla 1.6.0 Stable was released yesterday, and JoomlArt wants to make sure you have the Joomla 1.6 Components, Modules and Plugins you need to build your site using the latest Joomla release. JoomlArt has already released 22 Extensions for the Joomla 1.6.0 release, and we’re working hard to get even more extensions updated to 1.6.0. in the coming days!

Only some hours left for most of you until the old year is gone. We would like to devote these last few hours rethinking about what has been achieved by our team and what not. We had a very ambitious plan at the beginning of 2010. We could not accomplished all our targets, but what we could is not too bad either:

On December 15th, the Joomla Project announced the immediate release of Joomla 1.6 release candidate 1. This release comes after a long series of beta's and a lot of hard work by the development team and bug squad.

JA Cloris is our first one-page template which is light-weight, compact and still comes with lots of functions. This modern age single-page design is a trendy pick among creative artists showcasing their latest work or for the result-oriented consultant, who wants to show more than just an e-business card.

Good news at the end of year 2010: Waiting time is over for a new star amongst magazine templates. With JA Teline IV the popular Teline Family gets a new member which is a hot discussed and long waited template for media, magazine and news publishing sites. Back in 2007, the original JA Teline was a major breakthrough for our JA Template Club and since every new Teline version has been a big time hit - with top downloads and thread counts in the forum. We have spent a big deal of time to improve its flexibility, usability and ease of customization while adding new sophisticated typo elements for your variety.

We have seen a big wave of new product launches around cloud computing and hosting since last year. And it has even become hotter during the past few weeks. Recently Amazon announced it's Free Usage Tier starting from November 1st, 2010.
