I am trying to change categories (as they will not display in the order I am specifying) but the "SAVE" or "SAVE and CLOSE" buttons do not work. only the CANCEL button works.

Hi
This seems to be a permission issue. Kindly check the
modules/mod_janewspro/admin/japrofile/helper.php should have writable.
Also, the files and folder must have permission as in documentation.

For the Migration site Sorry i have no information about this on your site so enable to check that for you.
For the Homepage the link is correct, you have to check it on your server because this URL http://theguadalajarareporter.net/index.php
That is correct for logo and its redirected from server. Kindly disable the redirections and check.

For the module can u share the your Cpanel details so i can check the permission issue of file.

Both the problems are due to the redirections code from the .htaccess.
One does not allow the module to save due to the wrong path when u click save and another redirection of the site.
See when i temp. rename the file it works http://prnt.sc/ene94n
Since you have many advance redirections and server codes in file I can not edit this file for you.
I suggest you contact your developer or hosting who wrote these codes for you.
You can temp. rename the .htacess file and check both issues, they will be solved.
