I am going to concentrate on plugins I use in Firefox to make my web life that much easier 🙂

Probably the greatest extension for Firefox, Firebug. It allows you edit HTML and CSS live on your site. When you are debugging problems on your site, this makes the process phenomenally quicker, its just crazy. You cannot comprehend how awesome this plugin is unless you actually use it.

Another great extensions for Firefox is the Web dev tool https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/60 This has many more options than firebug but not as comprehensive in firebug’s css/html capabilites. I normally use web dev tool to validate my content as I write it – fantastic piece of kit. The window resize tool is great if you want consistent sizes when doing video tutorials

MeasureIT https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/539 is a browser based rule, basically. Great for getting rough dimensions on this, especially if you are using lots of inline styles in content which I do

Colorzilla https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/271 its basically a colour picker for firefox so you can see what colour anything is on your site in hex format and rgb. Another great tool

Fasterfox https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1269 Shows you the time it takes to load a page.

IE view, https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/35 quick way to open pages in IE if you are testing in a cross-browser platform.

Download and use these are see how much web bulding is 🙂
