No.
It won’t work. Same with Lens. (Based on my tests)
Give the guys some time and I’m sure they’ll upgrade it.
Joomla 3 isn’t a really important upgrade to do. 3.5 will be as it’s the Long Tern Release. v3 will only last 6 months or so. Joomla 2.5 is stable and secure so maybe better to hold there until 3.5 comes and everyone has had time to upgrade templates and extensions to run on J3 and bootstrap.
