I am not able to update the JA extensions, i tried with Joomlart extension manager withe the correct credentials but nothing. Could you help please.

Hi
Kindly open Configurations Tab from right side > Hide Non JA Extension > Save.
check the option is Yes after save to confirm changes saved now try to update the extension.

Ok, it seems to stopped error. I have another related question though, why in joomla extension update does it states that there are indeed updates available and the JA extension says it is updated?

Hi
As u already updated the extension, kindly ignore this.
Or clear cache to remove the notifications. It will be auto removed once the Joomla cache fresh and its table updated.
