Update of template did not work. It stopped without succes. Now only the frontend works and the backend gets a blank page. Must I re install or is there a way out?

Hi
it looks like you updated your Joomla, not the template.
Admin side of Joomla is core Joomla part and template is work for front end only.
Can you confirm how did you update the template? So i can check it further
