hi. I have installed ja konos complete from quickstart pack and i have problem with updating Joomla from 3.1.6 to 3.2 and 3.6. vers.
it is write : “No updates available
You already have the latest Joomla! version, 3.1.6.” but when try to install the joomla update pack (Joomla_3.2.0-Stable-Update_Package)- receive this.(Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home3/dandy/public_html/pw/bcb1/libraries/joomla/archive/tar.php on line 187) and white screen.. and have made a lot of research, how to solve this issue, on google, but nothing.
Have anyone the same problem..?

Hello, according to your recommendations, studied the problem I inserted this code ini_set(‘max_execution_time’, 90); I this file ..index.php. I’m not sure if I did well or not but now after upload to install the updates. does not appear that error but simply white screen appears. and the update still does not install.

Sorry for step in but don not play with your live site .
Template is currently no currently not compatible with Joomla3.2.x

so upgrade is at your own risk .
If you want to try this on Joomla3.2.x
I suggest you to take a backup of your site . Install it on a test subdomain with new database . and test its working there .

Hi there,
Just for adding information about steps:
– Backup your site: You can backup in CPanel ( full server back up ) or use Akeeba
– Check your php.ini to make sure everything fine and good enough. For sample your case need increase max execute time. And you can also enable display_error to see if anything wrong, for sample your case have blank page issue ( with display_errors ALL you can see what’s going on )
– Upgrade your Joomla! by follow Joomla! instruction
– And finally make sure all of your extensions are compatibility with new Joomla! version.

So, pankajsharma and jooservices thank you for response…for all this information. Now, my questions is..if for future Ja Kronos template will be compatible and with the newest version of Joomla ?
