April 15, 2011 at 11:04 pm #162841Almost all fine, but can’t find a way to translate some of the words in the JA Comments window – please see screenshot. Tries every possible .ini file that may have anything to do with it and nothing

April 22, 2011 at 5:23 am #387580Hi,
I am sorry I did not give you reply here but I had replied to your PM, since I could not see anything when I connected to FTP. I had asked you if I can install extplorer in joomla admin to access the files.. Can I do that now, then I will be able to check the issue. I will uninstall it once I solve the problem.

April 25, 2011 at 10:48 am #387975Hi,
Some language variables are not defined in the language file for JA comments. I have made following changes and explained what you need to do to change the text to your language. In components/com_jacomment/theme/default/html/comments/items.php on line number 89, I have added VOTE = Vote in the language file. You need to access the English language file from Joomla admin>Components>Ja Comment, by clicking on Languages link in left column, bottom and change the above text (Vote) to whatever you want.
Approved and Edit text was not properly set as language variable in components/com_jacomment/theme/default/html/comments/actions.php I have changed that and now they are showing as you had defined them in language file.
1 user says Thank You to himangi for this useful post

April 25, 2011 at 7:13 pm #388122All fine now, thank you very much, and we’ve fixed couple of missing things at the same time.
I have suddenly lost JA comments on my laptop – won’t see the JA comments window at the end of K2 items – it’s fine on another computer though. Trying to figure out what happened.

April 26, 2011 at 3:22 pm #388369No worries I even opened a specific thread, but I found I was logged in at two different computers simultaneously. So I logged out and logged in at mine only and it’s all fine now.
