Hi, I have never used tags before, but have done some reading about how they are supposed to work so thought I would give them a go.
When I go to Components – Tags, and try to create a new tag, I get the following error:

Save failed with the following error: TagsTableTag::_getNode(1, ) failed.

There are no tags created yet.

I am running:

• Joomla! 3.7.2
• Purity III v 1.1.5
• T3 Framework v. 2.4.9

Can you please let me know what is wrong here?

Its the issue in Your Joomla. I suggest you to follow this topic from Joomla forum and share your issue on ot if this doesn’t helps you.

Also update t3 plugin and template to latest version . Current version on your site not ready for Joomla3.7.2

of I’ve found t3 plugin and template and updated it to the latest.

Also, did as you suggested follow this topic from Joomla forum and share my issue on it if this doesn’t helps you.

It just particularly helped. Now I can add and save Tags, but when I try to add them to article, then I got error with no description. It is very strange…

Any idea?

I reported it to JF.

Still, I think that something is wrong in my Purity III installation package.

I have quick installation package where the tags are working correctly on version Joomla! 3.3.6 T3 Framework v. 2.4.4 Purity III v. 1.1.2

and have problem on my production web site with Joomla! 3.7.2 T3 Framework v. 2.6.5 Purity III v. 1.2.0

Maybe something went wrong in database after upgrade to Joomla 3.7??

After I run SQL script:

INSERT INTO xyz_tags (id, parent_id, lft, rgt, level, path, title, alias, note, description, published, checked_out, checked_out_time, access, params, metadesc, metakey, metadata, created_user_id, created_time, created_by_alias, modified_user_id, modified_time, images, urls, hits, language, version, publish_up, publish_down) VALUES
(1, 0, 0, 1, 0, '', 'ROOT', 'root', '', '', 1, 0, '0000-00-00 00:00:00', 1, '', '', '', '', 176, '2017-06-13 20:58:36', '', 0, '0000-00-00 00:00:00', '', '', 0, '*', 1, '0000-00-00 00:00:00', '0000-00-00 00:00:00');

I got following error:`

1062 – Duplicate entry ‘1’ for key ‘PRIMARY’

Any idea

You have to follow the same thread you posted on Joomla forum so you will get a better reply about the core Joomla issue.
Its not related to the template so i am unable to give u exact suggestion on it.
