Somehow my site ended up with two default menus. One set from the Main Menu, and the other set from the “magazine” menu item. Both exist at the same time.

How can I deactivate the default from the Main Menu ? It cannot be unpublished, or deleted, and Joomla requires that a default must be set, so I cannot figure out how to use the magazine item as the default.

Thanks Pritam for the offer to help. It is amazing the number of problems that can be solved by simply clearing the cache, reload the page and have the required changes take place.

I have been away from my computer for a while, and was not able to post my remarks in time. A very good day to you sir.
