I want to change the default module in the top position. I don’t want the login boxes there. I want to put a telephone number and some quick links but I cannot do that. Whenever I publish the top module it spans the entire top portion of the template and goes over my logo. How do I publish another module (not login ) in the top module position without having it take over the entire top portion of the logo. How do I get the top module position to pan to the right without overlapping.

Have you tried modifying the relative CSS parameters for for the “top” position? I’m pretty sure you can designate the width, height and float parameters so that it doesn’t expand as you describe.
