I can’t access with your information provided.
But here is how it works
# Tabs using Bootstrap
# Module use {loadposition}

On quickstart you can see it’s module id 105. And checked in backend we know it’s custom html module with

<div><!-- Nav tabs --><ul class="nav nav-tabs"><li class="active"><a href="#home" data-toggle="tab" data-mce-href="#home">Most read</a></li><li><a href="#profile" data-toggle="tab" data-mce-href="#profile">Latest news</a></li></ul><!-- Tab panes --><div class="tab-content"><div id="home" class="tab-pane active">{loadposition tab-1}</div><div id="profile" class="tab-pane">{loadposition tab-2}</div></div></div>

position tab-1 & tab-2 is another module for mostread & latest news.

Hi there
I can see you we have right config but plugin is not triggered to replace string with module.
I also saw you have lots of extensions installed. It would cause conflict .

I would suggest you use quickstart.
and i also suggest stay with Joomla! 3.3.6 for a while. There is no reason for this rushing
