It will be great that the system messages like "Login successful" to disappear in a few seconds automatically.

Hi,

It will depend on your login module you’re using whether it supports successful login message or not. Which one are you using to?

no, no, … 🙂 … the idea was not to skip the system alert messages to show. my future request was to make them disappear automatically after a few seconds after they appear, not to close them from "X" button.

Hi,

I got your point but I’m afraid that you will have to tweak alert system from Joomla to achieve that. Or you can try with a 3rd party plugin for Joomla System messages in JED
