When using the Spotlight Module, I entered this link “index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=47” into the External Link box.

When the user lands on this page, the Breadcrumb trail is not updated. But, if I navigate to the same Article via a menu, the Breadcrumb is correct.

Is there a way to fix this?

Hi erkorb

I am afraid that you have to use the second way. The Breadcrumb module does not support for the external Link like your link.

I am sorry for not being of much help in the case.
