    Hi,
I’ve just downloaded the JA Wall template ‘JA Wall Template for Joomla 3.x’. I’ve Joomla! 3.6.5.
    http://www.careyfaughs.net/hurling/index.php/en/

Ques 1; How do I get my main menu to display with this template?
Ques 2; Also I’d like to have the social feeds / club sponsor / etc appear on a left panel as well. So I’d like to be able to position modules there.

    Hi,

Below are my answers for your concern:

    1) We use a Menu module to display a menu in mainnav position: http://prntscr.com/eeb3pt . You can create a new module with ‘menu’ type and select your desired menu there.

    2) You can create your own module and assign them to sidebar position, it will show on the left panel of website.

Thanks, that worked ok. Is there a visual map / layout of the JA Wall positions for this template anywhere?

    Hi,
Three more questions for my site careyfaughs.net, plus the one above.
    1) Where is the image modified, at the moment its JA Wall, I’d like to replace it with my clubs.
    2) Where is the best place to change the background colour of the main menu, is it under theme.css of each style?
    3) How do I add the link to the Social Feeds like facebook and twitter, etc, content categories, that are in the demo http://ja-wall.demo.joomlart.com/xmas/facebook

    Hi,

    1) It depends on the content you’re using, JA Wall uses Joomla content and K2 content so you can replace image easily in administrator panel:

    Administrator > Content > Articles
    Administrator > Components > K2 > item

    2) You can use Google chrome inspect element or Firebug for Firefox. What I usually do is hover on any HTML element (i.e. button, tag, text, …) you want and right click on it and then click on inspect element, it will show you which CSS class it is using and which CSS file and the path to this element on the right side. then you can go to the file and replace it with new CSS you change.

    3) These content are feeds from facebook imported into site via JA Social Feed plugin, you can use this plugin and import feeds from your facebook page (or other social site) and it will have link to that page.

Please check out documentation of this template for more info: http://ja-wall.demo.joomlart.com/default/documentation

    Thanks,
My Site has come togther quite quickly with this template.
I’ve used the JA Social plugin but the twitter feed is not pulling in data.
    to the frontend it returns this error;
    Source : twitter
    Profile CareyFaughs
    Twitter: Bad Authentication data.

In the logs is this error, not sure its related
[Thu Mar 9 04:06:07 2017] [error] [client 77.75.78.161] Request exceeded the limit of 10 internal redirects due to probable configuration error. Use ‘LimitInternalRecursion’ to increase the limit if necessary. Use ‘LogLevel debug’ to get a backtrace.

    What could the issue be?

Could you update the URL and Admin login info of your site so I will take a look?

    Hi,
Were you able to see the error happen, and have an idea what the fix would be?

    Hi,

I checked the settings of JA Social Feed plugin on your site, you will need to fill the Twitter OAuth Information first, pls check out documentation of this plugin for more info: https://www.joomlart.com/documentation/joomla-plugins/ja-social-feed#twitter-settings
