Hi, I have installed the Uber – Gym template. I can’t figure out how to change the social media links in the footer at the bottom right.

Go to Module manager > Select Module position : acm-footer
You can see module > [Gym&Fitness] Footer > Open it change social Details with your social account names .

Is there a way to add other social media sites (instagram, youtube, flickr, etc.) to the list?

We have used only 6 icons by default , Follow this thread for the same matter to add/change the social icons in Uber acm module .

Thank you. Very helpful. How do I change the tooltip text? I changed the icon and link to instagram, but the tooltip still says "Follow Us on Pinterest".

You need to change the Addthis button class from pinterest to instagram in footer php fie .
Its coming form Addthis site , once u change the class it will pick follow us on instagram
