Hi,

How to get the color overlay mask effect back to slideshow? :((

I also realized that this version is a lite one. Is possible to install Slideshow 3 on this theme and setup to get the opacity effect for instance?

Hi epimazzo,

The SlideShow 3 can be used in Hawkstore. You can refer the below document for the configuration of Slideshow 3
http://www.joomlart.com/documentation/joomla-module/ja-slideshow

You may need to to add the below code if the layout of slideshow is not good
[PHP].ja-slide-main-wrap {
max-width: 100% !important;}[/PHP]

Version 3 didn’t get the trick of mask effect not even load anything. Perhaps because of the profile and skin settings which seems not be compatible with this theme.

Any other idea around to get this overlay mask back?

Hi epimazzo,

We normally override some modules and components to meet the design of each template. The overridden folder of slideshow is located at : root/templates/<name of template>/html/mod_jaslideshow

If you know that there is a configuration of ja slideshow in a template, you try to copy the slideshow overridden folder in that template to you hawkstore template. It may work 🙂

Hi Eragon,

Well, I actually decided to work with the PSD source files and placed images over the mask there and it worked. 😉
