December 27, 2010 at 10:55 pm #368845Doubt it is a bug, probably a typo. If the text worked before you changed it then it is more likely just a minor mistake. What have you changed. Please post the code you used.
December 27, 2010 at 11:22 pm #368848Hi phil,
I didn’t change anything except a few words in ressources settings ( i checked =>from image folder)
Change “Welcome to JA lime with “this is the title i want.
<h3>This is the title i want !</h3>
<p>JA Lime comes with Demo Installation of <a href="#" title="Coming Soon">"JA Comment" Component</a>, check any article bottom for the comments link...</p><p>JA Comment is coming out soon as Enterprise Extension. This component is way ahead of its competitor and is fully loaded with all the features expected out of enterprise level extension....</p>
<h3>Super Cute Illustrations by Ariel Fajtlowicz</h3>
<p>At et id justo accumsan Donec a odio nibh id et. Quisque nunc nibh sit pretium turpis eget sed non Proin non. Justo id pede Vestibulum ornare Phasellus egestas.</p><p>Nullam nec In metus turpis eget convallis tempus Donec hac Donec. Orci wisi Fusce consectetuer quis sem et est dui...</p>
<h3>Amazing bedroom interior design</h3>

i notice that if put 500 in place of 240 in “Main Item height ” (in Stage sttings), i can see the rest of the text.
:(( think i have to code the css?
December 27, 2010 at 11:34 pm #368849Hi again,
i checked the “description only” button and a miracle happened…. it’s back… with a read more button.
But what if i don’t want “a read more” button? Just descritption text?

December 28, 2010 at 2:50 am #368867Please try to find the Show Readmore Text parameter and select option No for this and then check again
ThanksDecember 28, 2010 at 3:14 pm #368930Hi Thien,
Thanks for help.
I found the read more button parameter, but i would like to show it for the articles. What i want is to hide it in the slideshow.
When i put no text in the field “read more text” (slideshow parameters) by default i still have “readmore” showing.
Should be a good thing to have next to the field “read more text”, a button show read more : yes or no
See what i mean? 🙂Phill ModeratorPhill

December 28, 2010 at 3:41 pm #368934Hmm, I have just installed the quickstart to investigate your problems. When the quickstart is first installed under “Show Description” neither option is selected. Once you select either “No Description” or “Desciption Only” that is when the problems start.
You are also correct in that the readmore text cannot be removed.
I will pass this onto the developers for further testing.
January 15, 2011 at 10:02 pm #372027Has this issue been resolved? I’m still forced to select “Description Only” or “No Description.” I do want the descriptions to appear, but for some reason it’s not allowing my Read More text to show up now.

January 15, 2011 at 10:23 pm #372031Please update the slideshow component using the JA Extensions Manager. If that does not fix your problem I will raise a ticket for you.
January 15, 2011 at 10:56 pm #372034It seems I’m on the latest update. Creation date is Nov. 25, 2010.
