The problem with the duration/interval can be solved by adding data-interval=”whatvalueever” to the div

That’s right, this is Bootstrap Carousel, you can get all configurations for Carousel here

Thanks all for the help. I did discover that I can manually edit the HTML to add that to the DIV tag. Unfortunate that it cannot be part of the standard Joomla build process, and has to be done manually afterwards.
