If I use the position left or other I can get the slider to show. But if I use the position slideshow it is just gone.

The problem was both with the Template for 1.5 and the “old” template with legacy turned on.

Anyone with a similar problem that has solved this situation?

I did actually solve it myself when I found that it required to have a module placed in newslight before it was shown.

That’s right MagnusSolander,
The slidegallery and newslight only display if both of them are enable.
