Is your web server Apache? What is the name of the Apache user (nobody, www, daemon….) To what group is the Apache deamon assigned? Checked if the directory in whole Path exists?

Try some right assignments with chmod…

    joliver,
I notice your slideshow is no longer showing errors. How did you solve this issue?

    hiya jess,

normally this error is caused by a missing resized folder, or with wrong permissions on the resized folder.

Check if the images/resized folder is actually there. If not create the rezized folder and check if the error is gone (the folder is often not there after installing quickstart).

If the folder is already there CHMOD the permissions to 755 (and if that not works pure for testing to 777)

Thanks Bennitos. I had already checked to make sure the folder was there before I posted. I also changed the permissions. Still no luck. I thought maybe the previous poster had done something I hadn’t already tried.

did you also applied the permissions in the sub folders of the resized folder?
