How can we remove the “screen door” look on the slideshow? It vitiates the images.

Are you talking about Iolite template or Helio template? I’m not seeing a “screen door” look on any of the Iolite images, but I am on the Helio template.

We figured it out–it’s

.ja-slideshow-mask {template.css (line 992)
background:transparent url(../images/header-mask.png) no-repeat scroll 0%;
display:block;
height:250px;
left:0pt;
position:absolute;
top:0pt;
width:100%;
z-index:100;

Edit the png file and remove the hatches.
