Installing JA Community Plus locally using WAMP.
After clicking on Sample Data the below errors appears and can’t continue with the process.
I only can install if I don’t install the Sample Data, but I would like to have the Sample Data for obvious reasons.

what is the version of php and mysql on your machine? is your quickstart the latest?

PHP version = 5.3.5 / MySql version = 5.5.8 and yes, I’m using the latest quickstart, it’s working on my host but not locally.

I have the same issue. How do I downgrade mysql (I have version 5.5.8 as well)? Is it a matter of uninstall and reinstall another version?

With Wamp you can from within download different versions of PHP, Apache and MySql. You can then select the versions you require and switch as needed. No need to uninstall the current one. All details can be found on the Wamp website.

Thanks I have XAMPP so did an uninstall/reinstall of version 1.7.2 and it worked. Appreciate yr responses.
