After uploading my Joomla Uvite website from my laptop PC to Godaddy.com hosting account, a Login page loads first instead of my Home page. I want users and visiters to see my Home page first, not a Login page. I cannot find a place to turn this off, as I already have a small login box on my Home page. I do not need a full sized Login page.
So typing in http://dev.glassandgardenchurch.orgwill take you to a Login page instead of my Home page. This page is where it takes users instead: http://dev.glassandgardenchurch.org/index.php?option=com_user&view=login&return=aHR0cDovL2Rldi5nbGFzc2FuZGdhcmRlbmNodXJjaC5vcmcv
Why? How can I eliminate this page, but still keep a small login for registered users?

Do you have your HOME link set as your default link?
No I didn’t. And I didn’t even understand what you were refering to until I searched using your answer’s key words. I found this about Joomla 1.5:
The “page” that shows is determined by the Default item, which is indicated by a yellow star. This may be on any menu. For example, you may Go to Menu ==>Main Menu. Select the item you would like as the homepage and click the default icon. (Make sure the link is published and set to public).
Since my local website Home page always came up when I entered my domain name, I didn’t know that I had to set a default, nor how to do it. I found the default star column and made Home my default. It worked! THANKS!!
