Hello,

I’m having trouble with the JA article button (located next to JA Typo under the editor). It inserts a link to another article, but the resulting links result in 404 page errors. When I turn SEF/URL re-writing off, the links provided by the JA article button appear to work.

Is there any way this plugin will work with SEF/URL re-writing on?

Hi,
Before activating “URL Rewriting”, please rename “htaccess.txt” file in your web directory to “.htaccess”.

The file “htaccess.txt” is already renamed “.htaccess”. Any other suggestions?

well, where is your Joomla installation located? If it’s located in root/subcategory, in .htaccess file, please try to set RewriteBase to /subcategory. If it still doesn’t work, try with commenting #RewriteBase.

Hi Hien, thanks very much for the follow up. I’m still having issues. The resulting link is still being directed to the wrong category. For example, the intended link is:

http://www.sitename.com/folder1/index.php?id=111 and the generated link is
http://www.sitename/com/folder2?id=111

Any help is very much appreciated.
