Whenever I save a template using the Template Manager my params.ini becomes unwritable. (555)

I change back to 755 and the Template Manger shows it as writeable. But anytime I save or apply params.ini becomes unwriteable again. and so it goes (happens also when running site locally IIS)

Searching the forum’s I couldn’t find anything that I haven’t tried to resolve the problem. :confused:

I may have this posted in the wrong forum to boot.

I enabled FTP in Joomla and it resolved the problem.

ftp is enabled in my configuration, but this problem persists. Will post in Rochea forum which is the template I am using.
