Hi, I’ve got an override issue.
I’m able to override com_contact contact by /templates/purity_iii/local/html/com_contact/contact/default.php
but I can’t override com_contact category with /templates/purity_iii/local/html/com_contact/category/default.php (or default_items.php)

Hi @planetcrypton,

To override default Joomla! extension, please place it in templates/purity_iii/html instead of templates/purity_iii/local/html

But isn’t that just what the "local" directory is intended for?
To avoid my changes to be overridden when Purity III gets updated?

Hi @planetcrypton,

I checked the original Purity III template but didn’t see HTML override for com_contact there, so place the HTML override in folder local is not the correct way because by default, Joomla! will check in folder HTML of template.
