Hello,
I wondered if it was possible to open the window off-canvas clicking on a button placed anywhere on the page or from a menu item without using a link on the top left.

Hi
its not possible as the functionality is given by only though the particular button . While u can check the php file off canvas in /tpls/blocks/off-canvas.php and check the functionality of the button and customize it to use it on other place . I did not tried it so can not assure it will work or not 🙂
