In the demo version on the frontpage, there are four or so articles displayed under the Featured Speakers section. How can I change it so only one or two articles is shown ?

Hi,

These are featured articles displayed in home page, please open Menus > Main menu > Home menu items and change the number of Intro articles.

Then clean JAT3 cache.
