how to remove the “Last update:11:38:26 AM GMT” at the head ofthe frontpage?

How to set the articles displays in channel frontpage and sub-channel frontpage?
I want it only show the titles in channel frontpage, and show the titles and intro test. in the sub-channel frontpage.

Go into tempate.css and search for ja.update and add the property display:none.
