Hi Guys,

Big problem I have not looked at one of my sites for a while but today went to log in to the admin section and I just get a blank page.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

For most of “blank page” issue. Please turn on display_errors to get detail .

Where would I turn on display errors?

I cannot access the administrator section. When I type in the page it comes up as a blank screen so no place to enter password or login.

Hi there,
There are many ways to turn on display_errors.
– Update php.ini
– .htaccess
– use ini_set
– Or update joomla! configuration.php

public $error_reporting = 'maximum';

Please contact your hosting provider to do that

Thanks for that I managed to add it in the config.php file.

So now the error comes up as

Strict Standards: Declaration of fancyboxClass::getHeaderLibrary() should be compatible with JAPopupHelper::getHeaderLibrary($bodyString, $identifierString, $headerString) in /home1/vivaasia/public_html/plugins/system/japopup/fancybox/fancybox.php on line 18

Hi there,
Strict Standards is not really serious that would cause blank page. But you can try to disable this plugin. By:
– Rename /home1/vivaasia/public_html/plugins/system/japopup to another name to disable this plugin
than try to load page again.

So i renamed it and now I don’t get any error messages I am just back to having a blank page.

I want to check it in my localhost with xdebug to inspect issue.

ps:// I saw you are using a lots of extensions . Please careful about it. It would cause conflict.

This is going to take some time and even then am not sure how I will send it to you.

Apparently I have to donwload the database from phpmyadmin and then ftp download all the files for viva asia.

How would you like me to send them if I can get this done?
