you open the file: /templates/ja_vauxite/css/template.css and find the following :

#ja-search {
top: 135px;
right: 0;
position: absolute;
background: url(../images/search-form.png) no-repeat left top;
width: 200px;
height: 24px;
}

you adjust value for the right attribute: for example right:12px
