In Firefox everything is peachy. Site looks great.

Have you pasted a lot of articles in from a wordprocessor? It appears so from your source code, probably from a MAC at a guess.

That is almost certainly your problem here. FF and chrome can see it as garbage but IE spontaneously explodes at the meerest thought of it. When you paste in from these applications they leave all sorts of formatting code behind telling other wordprocessor applications how to display. This includes lots of font sizes etc that if you simply past into the joomla (or any other cms) editor it will completely mess up your site as you can see. Take a look at some of the articles on the front page using the “no editor” option or the view html button in the joomla back end and I am certain you will find all sorts of extraneous code that should not be there. You will need to remove it then educate your authors. In TinyMCE and JCE there is a button specifically for pasting from word etc. In TinyMCE it is not enabled by default but if you go into your plugin manager and opend Editors>TinyMCE and set it to Extended mode you will get a new button. It looks like a little clipboard with a “W” on it. Use that for pasting and you will not have problems.

I do think you are definetly right. I changed the mod_janews_fp to the teliene IV format so that it doesn’t display snippets of a whole bunch of articles and that corrected a lot of the problems.

I also disabled mod_janewspro and the rest of the site cleared up. It must be able to take 1 or 2 articles with the garbage but not much more. Just not sure what the garbage is.
