Hi everyone, new on this board and I could use your help.

I am running Joomla 2.5.4 with the JA_Nex template and the K2 content system as well. Although I know how to position a module with content (from either Joomla or K2) on the page, for the life of me I can’t figure out how to have it show a few links and then a “Read more” button. I am trying something similar to the http://www.cnn.com site, for example the newsbox for the US category.

I have tried the default Joomla options as well as the JA plug-ins.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks a million!

    Hi mozese,

Could you post your site’s URL here? and which module in this template that you want to show content with Readmore?

Thanks Saguaros, the site (still work in progress) is http:http://www.enser.com/jooo. The position that I am trying is “user1”. Right now there’s the module “WEBINARS-CATALOG” which shows 5 K2 items in catalog mode. There are more, and I would like to have the “Read More” option in there. Also, is there a way to have those boxes with equal height? Thanks again, I appreciate it.

    Dear mozese,

Please check the url again. When I access with this link: http://www.enser.com/jooo

It’s a Page Not Found page. Please check it again.

    Hi mozese,

As I can see that Readmore does show now:

About the height of these boxes, which modules do you use in these position: user1, user2, user3? In backend of these position, you can add class suffix for these modules and set an equal height for them.

    1. readmore

In between posts I was able to get it to work. I am publishing them to user1, user2 and user3. I will give the class suffix tip a try. By the way is there a guide somewhere to customizing the CSS? I would like to change the look of the “read more” link as well as the layout of the actual article (which is a K2 item). Thanks again.

    Hi mozese,
This guide from JoomlArt Wiki may help you more about the theme. All you need to do in order to override is make changes for files/folders in templates folders. For example with K2 item, you should go to : templatesja_nexhtmlcom_k2templatesnex or nex_blog and make changes to K2 items. Let me know if you need further guidance.
