I want to have some text to the left of my slideshow.

I made a custom html mod and placed at “top” (same as slideshow)
I want it to be at the top left but it pushed the slideshow down and I don’t know how to move it.

Try rearranging the module order under module manager.

    Thanks for your suggestion.
That did make the text move to the top
But…..Now there is a big space on top of the slideshow.
Any idea how to get the text and slice show even with each other?

Why not use the text facility of the slideshow?

If you just add somesting like below in the “description for each item” bit of the modules config the text will go where you want it.

    Thanks for that suggestion——
That was working but I didn’t want to have different text for each slide. I just realized I can have the same text for all 20 slides.
This will probably work but seems a little clunky.

I’m going to have dinner nadn will try it after I eat.

Well ….that’s a crazy way to do it but who cares because it does work.

Now I have twenty entries in my Discription field (one for each slide)
If I need to edit the text I will have to edit all 20 instances of the Discription.

Is there a way to just have on entry for all the image names?

You know the text was impossible to configure using that “description” tool. With H3 settings you could not put a space in between words………so I came up with another workaround…….

just place and image with your text in the “description” ……..check it out……..

Is there a way to ask the authors of this template to look at this issue?
