    Hi

    I updated the file: /tpls/blocks/mainbody-content-left.php

by adding another condition if the page doesn’t load 2 sidebars position but ‘mast-col’ position only

You can see it works now.

    thankyou for the help

but i was wondering if i update my templates will it not overide the file

and if i do want use 2 sidebar positions in the future what do i do?

can i not do all these changes in the template layout option?

    You copy the file: ROOT/templates/your_default_template/tpls/blocks/mainbody-content-left.php

into the directory: ROOT/templates/your_default_template/local/tpls/blocks/mainbody-content-left.php (create associated folder if it doesn’t exist)

Files inside this local folder will not be affected when you update new version of template.

In backend > Extensions > Templates > Layout configuration > in each position, there is a settings icon where you can hide/show position you wish.
