you open the file: modules/mod_janews_fp/tmpl/default/style.css

and find the following code:
.ja-zinfp-featured-wrap { float: left; width: 55%; }

and

.ja-zinfp-normal-wrap { float: right; width: 44.9%; }

You adjust value the width via both above rules.
