Dear all,

the mod login in my site is already been disable since 2 years ago, but today i have received an email generated from joomla,
which state that there is a registered member. is weird

other than the mod login, is it still any else method to registered?
or i miss out something else?

Hello tc_sling,

mod_login in Joomla only let user login quickly from any page on site, it doesn’t prevent user from registering as new one in site. To do this, you need to go to Users / User Manager, then click on “Options” button. And choose “No” for “Allow User Registration” in “Component” tab of “Options” pop-up.
