when i want to switch language to Chinese in tour page , the main menu text will become blank and not showing any word. (pls see attached)

how can i fix it?

I have asked Solidres, they replied as the follwoing…
what should i do now to fix the problem?
and should i change to Falang?
but i was told to use the built-in multilingual feature here with Joomlart. …

This issue is not related to Solidres, it is related to Joomla Multilingual feature.

In general, we do not recommend using the built-in multilingual feature in Joomla because you have to duplicate everything for each language.

Please translate your menu using Falang, Falang is the recommended extension for building multilingual Joomla site and it is fully compatible with Solidres, more information can be found here:

Yes, we use the default way to create multilingual site. But as I can see that the text of menu when switching language is showing on your site now: http://prntscr.com/hpvoun

Is that working now?

Hi,

The issue comes from the Menu assignment, as I can see that page belongs to the menu item ID: 713: TOURS

This menu item is assigned with ja_hotel – Default_original template style: http://prntscr.com/hpze7q

But this template style is showing English menu (you can check under ‘navigation’ tab of this template style) so when you’re viewing Chinese page so it doesn’t show.

You can try to duplicate TOURS menu item for Chinese and assign template style in Chinese for it. It will show fine then.

I think the tours menu items was generated with Solidres automatically?

Solidres suggested me to change to Falang for the translation.
are you agree with it?
can Falang work harmony with JA hotel template?

Hi,

To be frank, we’ve not tested with Falang for this template yet so you can try in a test site or local site and see how it goes first before applying into live site.
