I had a Menu Item colored yellow using following method:

1. Placed the following code in /home/mysite/public_html/joomla/templates/uber/css/custom.css:

/ COLORED MENU ITEM LETS TRAVEL/
.navbar-default .navbar-nav > li.color-yellow > a {
background: #ffcc23;
}

.navbar-default .navbar-nav > .color-yellow.active > a,
.navbar-default .navbar-nav > .color-yellow > a:hover,
.navbar-default .navbar-nav > .color-yellow > a:focus {
background: #ffba24;
}

1. Ay Menu Item > Link Type > Link CSS Style placed > yellow-active

Suddenly it stop working maintaining same color as all other Menu Items.

How to fix this and return to Yellow Color?

Kindly check your site now. I added the class in mega menu. I saw you have not applied the suggestion.
I added it for EN menu > about .
